Bashundhara Shuvosangho on Sunday organised a story writing competition for the students of Government College of Applied Human Science, in a bid to preserve the memories of the turbulent July-August days.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s unit at the college also honoured the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the anti-fascist movement through the contest held on the college campus in Azimpur, Dhaka.
In the contest, students from different departments and batches were asked to write short stories on their experiences of the student-people uprising that ousted the autocratic Awami League from power on 5 August.
On behalf of Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s college unit, unit President Muslemina Sultana, and Health Affairs Secretary Tania Tanzim were present during the contest.
Furthermore, other key members of the unit including Bipasha Bithi, Noor-e-Jannat, Ayesha Akter Mousumi, Seema Rani Saha, Ania Tasnim, Noor-e-Ritika, Ayesha Siddiqua, Sumi Akter, Prapti, Sumaiya Islam Bihan and Lamia Nowshin were present at the event.
