Sohan Akter, the daughter of Abdur Razzak from Boro Uthan in Karnaphuli upazila of Chattogram, has always been passionate about her studies. However, her family’s financial constraints made her educational journey difficult.

Her day labourer father struggled to make ends meet, let alone support her education. Despite these challenges managed to complete her HSC with determination. Yet, when it came time to enroll in college for higher education, Sohan faced a new obstacle: she could not afford the admission fees. She began to believe her dream of further education would end there.

At this crucial moment, Karnaphuli Shuvosangho stepped in, providing her with the entire admission fee on behalf of Bashundhara Shuvosangho. Expressing her gratitude, Sohan said, "I thought my education journey would end here, but you came as a blessing and stood by me. Thank you so much."

The event, held recently, was attended by Shuvosangho friends Ali Ibn Abbas, Faisal, Russel, Sharmin Ruma, Mahin, Gias Uddin Sabbir, Tajbir, and Jasim Uddin.

Sharmin Laki, the president of the Karnaphuli Shuvosangho branch, stated, "Since our inception, we have aimed to support the underprivileged. By divine grace, we were able to assist Sohan in a small way. However, she still needs support to continue her studies, and we urge everyone to stand by her."
