Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei in collaboration with Kris Karmila Kreations organised a heartwarming charity drive to bring joy to underprivileged children in the local community marking the holy month of Ramadan. 

Thirty deserving children were given Eid gifts in the event organised at the Bangladesh High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan on April 5, 2024.

The initiative, spearheaded by Performance Artist and Philanthropist Kris Karmila and the Bangladesh High Commissioner Nahida Rahman Shumona, aimed to spread happiness and alleviate the burdens of families facing economic hardships during this festive season. Through the generous support of Kris Karmila Kreations, along with the backing of the Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce in Brunei and five other esteemed local organizations, this charitable endeavor became a reality.

Mrs. Nahida Rahman Shumona, alongside representatives from Kris Karmila Kreations and supporting organizations, personally handed out Eid gifts to the children, bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts. The event not only symbolized the unity and solidarity within the community but also highlighted the importance of collective efforts in serving humanity and fostering goodwill.

Expressing her gratitude, Nahida Rahman Shumona stated, "Ramadan is a time for reflection, empathy, and giving back to those in need.
