Inflation pressures for consumers eased marginally last month with food inflation falling by 0.30% from March levels, according to data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).

Non-food inflation fell 0.09% to 9.61% while overall inflation pressures eased by 0.18% from March.

Currently, overall inflation stands at 9.17%, according to BBS data.

The rate was 11.38% in November last year.
