Bashundhara Shuvosangho has formed a new committee in the Kamalnagar upazila of Lakshmipur, nominating MA Majid as president and Amanat Ullah as general secretary.
The new committee was introduced at a programme held at Kamalnagar Press Club on Saturday.

Other office bearers are: vice presidents Musakalimullah, Mahmudur Rahman Belayet, Sharmin Akhter, joint general secretaries Habib Ullah and Master Zahirul Islam, Organising Secretary Ali Akkas, Assistant Organising Secretary Mahdi Hasan Annie, Finance Secretary Master Abdur Rahim, Office Secretary Habibur Rahman, Women's Affairs Secretary Jasmine Akhter, Event Secretary Arafat Al Mamun, Planning Secretary Emran Hossain, Publicity Secretary Shahadat Sumon, Literature Secretary Israt Rahi Rista, Health Secretary Abdus Shahid, Sports Secretary Abu Sayeed Chowdhury, Technology Secretary Nazma Akhter, Women Affairs Secretary Yasmin Akhter, Education Secretary Mizanur Rahman Ratan, Hospitality Secretary Al Amin, Disaster Management Secretary Rimon Raju, Social Welfare Secretary Nusrat Rahi Iqra, executive members Ayesha Akhter Juthi, Runa Akhter and Nasrin Akhter were present on the occasion.
Advisers are Mizanur Rahman Manik and Belal Hossain Jewel.

Regarding the new committee, unit President MA Majid said that Shuvosangho continues multidimensional social awareness and service activities.
“We distribute winter clothes among the neglected population of the society, distribute iftar and food, conduct free medical camps, distribute sewing machines among women, and distribute free trees and plantation programmes to maintain natural balance,” he said.
