Ambassador of Kosovo meets Chief Adviser

Talks on deepening bilateral relations

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Bangladesh, Lulzim Pllana, has paid a visit to the Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday.
The chief adviser congratulated the newly appointed ambassador Pllana and applauded the people of Kosovo for their steadfast commitment to freedom, peace and national sovereignty. 
In response, the ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the government and people of Bangladesh for their unwavering support in recognising the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.
In the meantime, they discussed deepening bilateral relations between Kosovo and Bangladesh, with a particular emphasis on expanding trade and economic cooperation. The chief adviser further encouraged greater investment from Kosovo in the economic  zones of the country.
He highlighted several promising sectors for enhanced collaboration, including ready-made garments, pharmaceuticals, leather and leather goods, jute products, processed food and light engineering.
