Bangladesh bat first as Saif makes his ODI debut

Bangladesh skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz has won the toss in the first game of three-match ODI series against Afghanistan and elected to bat first at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

For Bangladesh, right-handed batter Saif Hasan is making his ODI debut after his brilliant performance at the Asia Cup T20 and the T20I series against Afghanistan. Opening batter Mohammad Naim hasn't reached at UAE yet due to the visa issue. Parvez Hossain Emon will be backing up his position at this current ODI team. 

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi continues to lead, with Rahmat Shah, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran and Sediqullah Atal forming the batting core.
